The Geek's Go-To's

Here are all the Products I have recommended to clients

Shure M7+

This Microphone is what my wife an I use for all our recordings as well as live zoom and viseo calls. It cust through the noise and gives the listener a clear and pleasant tone. I love how you can plug a set of monitor headphones directly into it so you know EXACLTY how you sound. Plus the software gives you all sorts of flexibility on shaping that tone.

Sony Alpha a6100

This is an excellent Video Capture Camera for streaming, video calls, and content creation. the Live view LCD allows you to simply frame up your shot and see yourself without having to keep a camera view of yourself on the computer monitor. Having your camera angled off your center can give a more real and comforting perspective and allow you to play with lighting and angles more.

Elgato Facecam Mk.2

If you're looking for a more buget concious way to upgrade your video, check out the Facecam Mk.2 from Elgato. The software gives you DSLR level control over your image while still conforming to the smaller Webcam style. This can sit on a desktop or laptop monitor or has the ability to mount to a tripod for better framing and shot versatility

Desktop Tripod

If you are going to move your camera away from the center of the screen (which is an excellent pattern interrupt from what most people are used to seeing and creates a more professional look), here is MY go-to option!

Sceptre ‎C278W-1920RN

Sceptre has been a strong up and comer in the LED Monitor market. They have stayed very competitve with Dell, LG and samsung in producing quality displays at a fraction of the cost of their well-known competitors. This Curved 27' Display comes in at Full HD 1920x1080 which will provide a clear easy-to-read workspace. Cause let's face it, 14-inch laptop monitors are not helping anyone! Includes ports for both VGA (old style) and HDMI (more current) inputs.

Sceptre 27" Quad-HD

If you're looking to really step up your game or you deal with graphic design or you simply want a crispier look to your desk, this 27" Flat Panel QUAD-HD 2560x1440 monitor with Dual DisplayPort and Dual HDMI is worth considering. You would be saving tons over a Samsung or LG of similar specs.

Logitech MK955 Wireless Desktop

Now that you have turned your little old laptop into a professional workstation, lets free you from a tiny keyboard and track pad. Whether you're on a Mac or PC, this Logitech Wireless Desktop Setup allows you the freedom to sit back from the screen a little and control your work environment. Your optometrist and chiropractor will thank you.

.. you're welcome!
